Elbow – “Neat Little Rows”
Directed by Mark Thomas.
Soundstage performance of the first single with a great, bouncy
piano line right in the chorus to make everything all shiny despite
the dark lyrics.
“Build A Rocket Boys!”, Elbow‘s 5th studio album and follow up to their
2008 Mercury Prize winning album “Seldom Seen Kid” will be out in the
UK March 7th on Polydor.
The Black Keys – “Howlin’ For You”
Directed by Chris Marrs Piliero.
A trailer to a Grindhouse movie I wish was coming soon to a theater
near me.
No one can beat this cast:
Tricia Helfer, Sean Patrick Flanery, Diora Baird, Shaun White, Corbin
Bernsen with Sir Todd Bridges and the BK boys as Mariachis.
Right now, The Black Keys are busy winning Grammy‘s (3 of ’em, 1 for
Best Alternative Music Album) and touring Europe.
My 3rd favorite LP of 2009 “Brothers” be in stores now.
The Kills – “Satellite”
Directed by Sophie Muller.
Dem cool mofos are back with the first single off their new album
“Blood Pressures” out April 5th on Domino Records.
They’ll hit the road starting with a few shows @ SXSW 2011, half a
dozen dates in Europe and then, the good ‘ol US of A and Canuckland.
They shall be in our neck of the woods April 30th @ L’Olympia. — > Tickets
Jenny And Johnny – “Big Wave”
Directed by Autumn De Wilde.
Awwwww … so gosh darn adorable.
They’ve got a few gigs scheduled for the West Coast this coming April
leading up to their Coachella appearance.
Their debut album “I’m Having Fun Now” is a great, overlooked gem from
last year.
