Osheaga 2011: More Artists Added + “In The City” Lineup Is Out

Especially happy to see Timber Timbre on there though it will be quite a change to see them outside, in broad daylight, on one assumes a hot, sunny afternoon where a sunbrella umbrella rather than a dark and dank venue.

That Scottish five-some known as Frightened Rabbit is a mighty nice surprise aswell. Last year’s album “The Winter Of Mixed Drinks” is still in heavy rotation in me iPod. Now, for the “In The City” lineup which is like a tease if you will to the main event, getting our beaks wet with tasty musical treats in those dark and dank venues I spoke of earlier. The BIG name here being James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, who since shutting down his beloved group last month, going at it solo with his LCD drummer Pat Mahoney to DJ a party @ Olympia Theatre, July 30th.
