No Age – “Fever Dreaming”
Directed by Patrick Daughters.
This being the best song on the record, Dean & Randy had to go for one of
the best directors in the music video business (Grizzly Bear‘s “Two
Weeks”) to come up with this grisly concept.
Each time the camera zooms in the frame, something get’s eaten away.
Throw in some sweet gore at the end and it’s a pretty awesome video.
“Everything In Between” out now on Sub Pop.
The Go! Team – “Buy Nothing Day”
Directed by James Slater.
Featuring Best Coast‘s Bethany Cosentino on vocals, this is off their new album
“Rolling Blackouts” out this Tuesday on Memphis Industries.
Best Coast (w/ Local band No Joy and Wavves opening) will be @ Cabaret Mile-End February 5th.
18$ advance / 20$ door — > Tickets
The Whigs – “So Lonely”
Directed by The Whigs.
A self shot performance video for my favorite song on their latest album
“In The Dark”.
The Vaccines – “Post Break-Up Sex”
Directed by Stephen Agnew.
You hear that LOUD buzzing sound?
It’s UK outfit The Vaccines that will be invading your hipster world in the coming
months with their debut album “What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?”
set to be released in the UK March 31st.
In the meantime, a 3-song EP will be released February 8th.
They shall be in Austin, TX this March for SXSW gigging all over and around
6th Street.
