Florence Welsh had quite a run these last few years.

She spent the better part of it on the road. Nominated for all kinds of
awards (Mercury, BRIT, Grammys) and her music was heard all over TV and
movies.

It’s surprising she even had time to record her follow up album but here
we are.

Titled “Ceremonials”, it will see the light of day in the UK October 31st
and the next day, November 1st in North America.

For this new album, she went back to work with Paul Epworth, who co-produced
her debut “Lungs”, and recording took place at the very famous Abbey Road
Studios
in London. Florence talked a bit about the recording process with
Pitchfork and Exclaim.

We got a taste of it last month with the teaser track “What The Water Gave Me”,
a thundering, soulful, choir/string heavy single. Now, you can hear the lead single
“Shake It Out” in streaming form:

Florence + The Machine – “Shake It Out”

A deluxe version of the album will be available which will include more new songs, unheard demos and acoustic versions of “Heartlines”, “Shake It Out” and “Breaking Down”.

You can pre-order it right HERE.

A tour will surely follow. My guess is we will see her in much bigger venues this
time around.
